Welcome to the age of chronic overwhelm.

You know how it goes.

A thousand and two unread emails, a million and one tasks unchecked, a gazillion and a half *really important* phone calls to be made, a bamboozle of self-help books stuffed under your bed, and one big dust bunny piling up high in the bathroom corner, collecting flies and karma alike.

Sigh.

This is the age of never-enough, go-go-go, always more to do/learn/become/fix/improve upon.  And right alongside, we have the age of never-enough-time-to-respond.

As a result, so many of us feel beaten down by our busy-bee lives, left to catch our breath in the margins of our lives, without hope for peace, sanity, or a frickin’ nap on the horizon.

Sound familiar?

You’re so (so) not alone.

We’re Jeena and Marina – two attorneys who have chosen, stumbled upon, wildly fallen off, and recommitted to the path of radical self-care.  We’ve learned a thing or two in the process, and are committed to sharing the tools and practices that have changed our lives.

And we'll share 5 powerful practices from Nonviolent Communication, mindfulness, and meditation to help us break the cycle, and re-establish the breath, sanity, and self-kindness that we truly need to sustain our full and overflowing lives.

This teleclass will be experiential!

Come as you are, harried and overwhelmed, or cool and calm alike, and let’s together find ways to tap into your radical self-care and inner calm.  And it won’t be just talk; you’ll leave the class with your own radical self-care plan!

WHO ARE THESE WOMEN?

Jeena Cho is a bankruptcy attorney who teaches mindfulness and meditation to lawyers. She regularly speaks and writes about wellness, self-care and mindfulness. She also works with lawyers and law firms on stress management, work-life balance, career transition, and increasing productivity and overall wellness. Learn more atwww.theanxiouslawyer.com.

Marina Smerling is a former attorney and current collaborative trainer with Bay Area Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and a counselor who is deeply committed to our evolution through the composting of shame into radical self-love. Drawing upon a decade of training in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), counseling, and a wild love of self-expression, Marina specializes in supporting women in not just surviving, but thriving through their communication and relationship challenges.
